Eremurus ( Cleopatra)
It is crazy to think that our summer is nearly over, the children will be heading back to school(thank God)…but with the passing of the summer we get the next batch of seasonal flowers. Here I have some Eremurus also know as Cleopatra, they are a tall flower and start to bloom from the bottom and work their way up to the top which makes it a long lasting flower.I have included in this bouquet white oriental Lillies and Sunflowers. The Weekend
You would never know it is the middle of August it is freezing out! Where is the sunshine, today I am going to show you some arrangements to bring the sunshine into your homes.
Here we have a stunning arrangement consisting of Bamboo Arum lillie which give that warm glow Peonie roses Black velvet twigs and to soften it all up I have wrapped the arrangement in white feathers.I hope you agree this is stunning. The cost of an arrangement like this would be €100

Left overs!
Just a quick tip today as at last the weather seems to be getting warmer.Here I have some roses, Aqua and Sweet Avalanche that are 6 days old and as you can see are quite blown, but absolutely stunning, so what I have done is cut them very short and tied them together and placed them in a small cubed vase. In doing this I will easily get another 4 to 5 days out of my roses, this can be done with any flowers that are on there last legs..and you don’t need a special vase a pretty tea cup will have the same effect.

Sisterly Love
Last week it took my sister 3 days to get home from Majorca, where it rained for 4 of the 7 days that she was there. After talking to a very blue sister on the phone this is what I decided to cheer her up with.This is a very simple bouquet of Avalanche white roses simply tied and wrapped in hession and tied with a raffia bow,it is all very low key but when I gave them to her it really cheered her up,(this and the bottle of wine).I f you have some one feeling blue flowers really do bring a smile. Simply Fabulous
I have debated with myself long and hard as to whether to post this picture!Here is the story I was very, very busy and the delivery man was waiting to take this order above but I simply could not let it leave the shop without taking a photo of it as if I do say so myself it is fantastic.Anyway I took the photo but as you can see I never swept the floor which you can all see from the picture. In this arrangement I have used white Calla lillies grouped together at different heights for effect and white Roses at the base just sitting on the glass vase hugging the Roses I have used sisal which gives it a dreamy effect.This design is very simple but very striking and is perfect if you have a special thank you or Birthday coming up.The cost of an arrangement like this one would be €120

Thank you for being there bouquet.
Here we have a fabulous bouquet which a customer ordered for her Mother as she was left minding her children through out the nightmare time of no flights.Although my customer was stranded in Miami with her sisters so I am not sure who had the nightmare!None the less she did order a fabulous bouquet of all her Mothers favorite flowers.In this bouquet I have include Arum yellow lillies,Thistles,Viburnums,Erenumus,yellow Roses Bells of Ireland scented wax flower complimented by Chico palm hand tied with a luxury organza ribbon.I hope she agrees with me that it is fabulous,and her Mother will mind her 4 children again. Bank holiday weekend specials
It is hard to believe that another Bank Holiday is upon us.This week I am doing special arrangements ideal for bringing as a simple inexpensive gift to bring when visiting friends or going to a party.Hopefully the barbaques can come out if the weather holds! In this arrangement I have uses Alliums which are strikingly purple, a favorite of mine Sunflowers, lotus heads,raffia and highlighted with Solidago. The cost of an arrangement like this would be €40.00.

Floral table arrangements
It is the time of the year for Holy Communion and Confirmations. If like myself you are having family and friends over to help you celebrate with your child, I have made some flower arrangements in glass vases that are not very large and ideal for a buffet table or simply place around the house for visual effect. I have used a square vase inches in height and put white roses orange carnations green chrysanthums orange roses and baby’s breath to highlight the colors. This style of arrangement can be done in any vases that you might have at home and you could always arrange to bring your vases in to us and we could arrange the flowers in your vases.When I am doing flowers for my house for special occasions I set myself a budget and work to it.If you would like this done you would need a budget of €15.00 aprox per vase.

Simply Fabalous
Isn’t it wonderful to wake up to the beautiful sunshine.Hopefully we will be able to get the barbaques out for the weekend? Today I have done up a few samples of arrangements that you could give as a gift if you are invited to a party in someone’s house.I always think when you are going to a house party it is always nicer to bring an arrangement as the host will be busy so an arrangement can just be placed rather than finding a vase etc..Here I have an arrangement of Calla lillies complimented by yellow Roses and hanging Amaranthus I have then wrapped it simply and tied it with a raffia bow.
